Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup Crisco shortening
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons real vanilla
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Melt butter; add to shortening and sugars and cream together. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Sift together dry ingredients. Stir into wet ingredients. Add chocolate chips. Chill 5-10 minutes.
- Roll into walnut size balls. Bake at 350℉ on top rack of oven about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
