Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup Crisco shortening
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons real vanilla
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter; add to shortening and sugars and cream together. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  • Sift together dry ingredients. Stir into wet ingredients. Add chocolate chips. Chill 5-10 minutes.
  • Roll into walnut size balls. Bake at 350℉ on top rack of oven about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
