Easy Pie Crust

Servings 5 crusts

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tablespoons (3 oz) water
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 ΒΌ cups (10 oz) shortening or lard

Instructions
 

  • Sift flour and salt together. Add shortening and cut together until crumbly.
  • Add egg, water, and vinegar. Mix. Form into 3-5 balls, depending on desired thickness. Each ball makes 1 crust.

Notes

Yield: 5 single crusts.
Balls may be frozen.
