Garlic Cheddar Drop Biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Bisquick*
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Combine Bisquick and cheese first. Add milk and stir until a soft dough forms.
  • Do not knead dough. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix butter and garlic powder and brush over warm biscuits.

Notes

Makes 9 biscuits.
*Homemade Bisquick Mix
Plain Drop Biscuits: Increase Bisquick to 2 1/4 cups and omit cheese, butter, and garlic powder. Bake as directed.
