Broccoli Salad
From Laurie Kraemer – Grand Forks, North Dakota
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch broccoli – chopped into pieces include stems
- 8 green onions – diced
- 1 cup raisins
- 10 slices bacon – fried and broken into pieces
- 1 cup cheddar cheese* – shredded
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
Dressing
- ½ – ¾ cup mayo depends on desired amount of dressing
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
Instructions
- Mix first three ingredients together. Add bacon, sunflower seeds, and cheese just before serving and toss with dressing.
Notes
*Don’t add cheese for dairy-free option.
