Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Balls

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Karo syrup dark preferred
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup peanut butter crunchy preferred
- 7 cups rice krispies
- butter for hands
Instructions
- Combine sugar and syrup in a large pot. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Add vanilla extract and peanut butter; stir until smooth. Add cereal and mix thoroughly.
- Butter clean hands and shape into 1 ½ to 2” balls. Place on wax paper to cool completely; store in airtight container.
Notes
Yield: About 40 balls.
