Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Balls

Course Snack

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Karo syrup dark preferred
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter crunchy preferred
  • 7 cups rice krispies
  • butter for hands

Instructions
 

  • Combine sugar and syrup in a large pot. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  • Add vanilla extract and peanut butter; stir until smooth. Add cereal and mix thoroughly.
  • Butter clean hands and shape into 1 ½ to 2” balls. Place on wax paper to cool completely; store in airtight container.

Notes

Yield: About 40 balls.
